Professor warwick was an expert at producing chemical weapons of mass destriction, but he wasn't only intressted in science , he was also an excellent hunter.
Noxus always demanded weapons from him and everyone in zaun in general but this time they pushed it to the limites and demanded more and more, and of course he couldn't do everything by his own, so he asked for singed's help.
after teaching him everything he knew, singed had to experiment the chemicals on himself  whenever warwick goes hunting. After few months singed's body was ruined and sustained he could no longer feel the pain.
After that singed wrote a formula for a potion that will turn warwick to more than just a man.
professor warwick had to travel to ionia to steal the potion recipes but soraka was there and she drove  him away.

After his defeat warwick went back to his laboratory asking singed to give him the incomplete potion , singed warned him saying whatever comes ou is going to be unbalnced. Warwick ignored him and he drank the potion , warwick started transfomating into something else he never saw before leaving his human body to become a werewolf.
